Bajau laut are usually known as the sea gypsy people, a term normally associated with the island people of the Pacific, especially in the southern Philippines area and other smaller islands. They lived in ocean on their make-shift house boats and coastal area with their houses built on stilts. The ocean is still their main source of living - fishing, collecting clams and mussels, even pearl farming in the remote islands off Semporna. (just few years ago). And I had great master photographers like Mr Victor Wah, Mr Pang and Mr Siaw teaching me to photograph and develop black and white prints in a dark room. Then I got myself in trouble...I started to use compact digital camera -small and easy! I was addicted to it. Using it for all occasion.... Kids birthday..graduation...climbing everest!! (in my dream!) </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Only in 2009, I came back to my senses, and I joined an "intervention" group and got myself clean from compact addiction and bought my 1st DSLR!!! I was set free!! I started this blog in 2009 and posted all kinds of pictures (U and PG13). During the last few years, I have photographed weddings, funerals!, events, seascape, landscape, wildlife and etc. But my passion is still photographing children and people. I have deleted all my old posts and am now dedicating this blog for children and people pictures!<br /><br />Terry and I are blessed with 2 charming kids...Abigail and Aaron, whom we adore and would give up the world for them.
